Your have been placed in charge of organizing a blood drive at your school. After polling the community, you found that many people did not understand how blood donations works, or how safe it was, and many people do not want to contribute. Your job is to create and imformational flyer or pamphlet that informs students and parents about blood donation, and will persuade them to donate blood.
Design an informational flyer, poster, or brochure that helps the people in your community understand what will happen during a blood drive. The product should encourage those in your community to come to the blood drive and donate blood.
You and your partner will research blood donation sites and compile information that will help people understand the process involved. As you research blood donation, consider the following questions:
Is blood donation safe?
What
does a person have to do to become a blood donor?
What happens to the blood
that is donated?
How is the blood drawn? Does it hurt?
How much blood
can be given?
Does a persons blood type matter?
Where does my blood go after I donate it?
How many people are benefited by blood donations? How is it used in hospitals?
